API Reports U.S. Crude Inventories Rise

The American Petroleum Institute late Tuesday reported crude inventories rose 5.4 million barrels last week, according to reports. Gasoline supplies rose 5.5 million barrels, while distillate stocks rose 1.1 million barrels. The API report comes a day ahead of closely watched data from the Energy Information Administration.
