Anglo American shares up in South Africa, CEO to step down
Shares of Anglo American rose by more than 2 percent in South Africa on Friday after Chief Executive Cynthia Carroll said she would be stepping down.
Shares opened 2.3 percent higher at 268.50, outperforming a 0.37 percent drop by the Johannesburg bourse's blue-chip index .
