Android smartphones will recognize Shazam voice command _ all hands-free
Next time you hear a song you can't quite name, just say "Shazam" to your Android smartphone.
The Shazam app will identify the song and artist for you, even if you don't have the app open. The feature taps the Google Now voice assistant on Android phones. You do need to have the Shazam app already installed, though. Shazam says the phone will recognize "Shazam," ''recognize" and "name" as commands, paired with "song," ''track," or "tune."
On iPhones, Shazam is already integrated to Apple's Siri voice assistant, though you need to press the home button to activate Siri. On Android, the voice command works hands-free.
Shazam says it has more than 100 million active monthly users.
