Amgen Hikes Quarterly Dividend By 27%

Amgen Inc. said late Tuesday its board hiked the quarterly dividend by 27%. The new $1-a-share dividend will be paid March 8, 2016, to shareholders of record as of Feb. 16. Previously, the biotech paid a quarterly dividend of 79 cents a share. Amgen shares rose 1% to $164.24 in after-hours activity.
