American Eagle Outfitters Shares Slip On Outlook
SAN FRANCISCO – American Eagle Outfitters Inc. shares slipped in the extended session Thursday after the specialty retailer's outlook fell below the Wall Street consensus. American Eagle shares declined 2.2% to $13.50 on moderate volume. The company forecast adjusted fourth-quarter earnings of 30 cents to 33 cents a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet estimate 35 cents a share. The specialty retailer reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of 22 cents a share on revenue of $854.3 million. Analysts expected 21 cents a share on revenue of $845 million.
