American Eagle Outfitters Shares Slip On Outlook

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. shares slipped in the extended session Thursday after the specialty retailer's outlook fell below the Wall Street consensus. American Eagle shares declined 2.2% to $13.50 on moderate volume. The company forecast adjusted fourth-quarter earnings of 30 cents to 33 cents a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet estimate 35 cents a share. The specialty retailer reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of 22 cents a share on revenue of $854.3 million. Analysts expected 21 cents a share on revenue of $845 million.
