American Airlines Group To Replace Allergan In The S&P 500

American Airlines Group Inc. will replace Allergan Inc. in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading Friday, S&P Dow Jones Indices said in a statement Monday. The holding company for American Airlines and US Airways will be added to the airlines subsector index. Shares of American Airlines Group rose 4% in after-hours trading. Shares of Allergan rose 0.3% late Monday.
