Amerco's (NASDAQ:UHAL) profit climbed in the fourth quarter, topping analysts' expectations.

Earnings and Revenue The company experienced stronger-than-expected EPS and revenues. The company reported EPS of $1.29 a share versus the 38 cents a share estimate and revenues of $523.4 million versus the $503.5 million estimate.

The company's net income for the quarter rose 91.8% to $25.4 million. Revenue climbed 7.2% from $488.4 million in the same period last year.

Company Fundamental Trends The company's revenue has grown during at least each of the past four quarters on a year-over-year basis.

History Against Expectations The company has now topped analyst estimates for at least the last four quarters. It beat by 34 cents in the third quarter, 67 cents in the second quarter and 17 cents in the first quarter.
