Allscripts Shares Rise On Stock Buyback Plan

Shares of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc. rose in Monday's extended session after the health-care IT company announced a stock buyback program. Allscripts said its board approved a repurchase plan of up to $150 million by the end of 2018. "The share repurchase program is intended, in part, to offset the dilution created by previous management equity grants," said the company in a statement. Allscripts shares rose 0.9% in Monday's after-hours trading.
