Alcoa Shares Fall After Third-quarter Results Miss

Alcoa Inc. shares fell in the extended session Thursday after the aluminum producer missed Wall Street estimates for the third quarter. Alcoa shares declined 4% to $10.58 on heavy volume. The company reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of 7 cents a share on revenue of $5.57 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated earnings of 13 cents a share on revenue of $5.66 billion.
