AK Steel Shares Fall On Forecast First-quarter Loss

SAN FRANCISCO (MarkerWatch) -- AK Steel Holding Corp. shares fell in the extended session Thursday after the steel maker said it expects a first-quarter loss. AK Steel shares dropped 7.1% to $3.90 on moderate volume. The company said it expects a first-quarter loss of 23 cents to 28 cents a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated a profit of 2 cents a share.
