Airlines companies shares up at the close of trading

Shares of some top airlines companies were up at the close of trading:

Delta Air rose $1.52 or 3.3 percent, to $47.44.

JetBlue Airways Corp. rose $.47 or 2.8 percent, to $17.49.

Southwest Airlines Co. rose $1.02 or 2.3 percent, to $44.78.

United Continental Holdings Inc. rose $1.92 or 2.9 percent, to $68.01.
