Air Products Raises Quarterly Dividend To 81 Cents a Share From 77 Cents

Air Products & Chemicals Inc. said Thursday it is raising its quarterly dividend to 81 cents a share from 77 cents. The new dividend is payable on May 11 to shareholders of record as of close of business April 1, the industrial gas company said in a statement. Air Products has raised its dividend every year for the past 33 years. Shares were down 1.3% in afternoon trade, but have gained 3.9% in the last three months, outperforming the S&P 500's 1% gain.
