30-year Fixed-rate Mortgage Edges Down To 4.01%: Freddie Mac
The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 4.01% in the week ending Nov. 13, down from 4.02%, mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said Thursday. The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.2%, down from 3.21%, while the 5-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgage averaged 3.02%, a rise from 2.97%. The 1-year Treasury-indexed ARM averaged 2.43%, down from 2.45%.
