McDonald's customer slammed by deer: WATCH
'Life is crazy sometimes'
This deer wasn't caught in the headlights: The animal was on the move, undeterred by neither a parking lot full of cars nor a McDonald's customer carrying a Coca-Cola out of the restaurant.
Surveillance footage showing the moment, when the customer was knocked almost head-over-heels by the fleet-footed animal and his soda survived, has gone viral after it was posted on Facebook.
"Many of you have heard about this; now you get to see it." Ken Worthy wrote in a Facebook post accompanying a 16-second video of the face-off between man and beast in Locust, North Carolina.

Some of his followers were shocked by the clip. “What in the world?" asked one. "That’s the craziest thing that I’ve ever seen."
Perhaps something of the sort was bound to happen, given the animal's prevalence in the region, however.
“It’s uncommon to see someone get run over by a deer, yes, but deer out here are not uncommon," Locust resident Chris McGhee told WCNC television. "You got acres of land out here, and there is just a lot of them."
Worthy says he was able to leave the incident without a scratch.
