U.S. Stocks Open Higher; Nike Jumps On Earnings Beat

U.S. stocks opened slightly higher on Friday with the main indexes on track to finish the week where they started. Investors appear to shrug off fraught negotiations between Greece and its lenders, as bailout talks are scheduled to continue over the weekend. In earnings news, Nike Inc shares rallied 3.3% at the open after beating earnings forecasts. The S&P 500 opened 3 points, or 0.1%, higher at 2,104. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 46 points, or 0.3%, to 17,934. The Nasdaq Composite began the day flat at 5,110.
