Police Kill Man In Austin Who Shot At Police Headquarters

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - Police shot and killed a man who they say opened fire on three buildings in Austin, Texas, early Friday, including the police department's headquarters, according to press reports. The man also targeted a U.S. courthouse and the Mexican consulate. Police did not immediately confirm whether the man, whose name was not immediately released, had explosives, but the city's assistant police chief said police noticed "what appeared to be an improvised explosive device inside the vehicle." Police don't yet have a motive.
