NASA Rocket Explodes At Launch; No Injuries Reported

An unmanned NASA rocket, the Antares, exploded Tuesday night just after lift-off at a launch facility at Wallops Island, Virginia. There were no injuries, NASA said on its live feed of the launch. Footage of the failure showed a large fireball erupt, with the Antares having just left the ground. The rocket was developed by Orbital Sciences Corp. , shares of which fell more than 12% after hours, once news of the explosion broke. The Antares system had seen previous successful launches. Tuesday's mission was meant to resupply the International Space Station.
