Kimberly-Clark Raises Dividend To 88 Cents a Share Vs. 84 Cents

Consumer goods company Kimberly-Clark Corp. said Thursday it is raising its quarterly dividend by 4.8% to 88 cents a share from 84 cents a share. The maker of brands including Kleenex and Huggies said the new dividend will by payable on April 2 to shareholders of record as of March 6. Shares were not yet active in premarket trade, but are down 1.9% in the last three months, underperforming the S&P 500's 2.5% gain.
