Facebook Security Officer Moves To Uber

Uber announced Thursday that Joe Sullivan, chief security officer at Facebook, will be joining the company in late April as its chief security officer. The move comes as Uber attempts to ramp up its security and data system amid breaches of driver data and concerns about passenger safety. Sullivan had previous stints at eBay and PayPal. In the blog post, Uber added that it has a presence in 300 cities in 56 countries.
