Chemicals Firm Huntsman To Lay Off 120 People
WASHINGTON – Huntsman Corp. said it's going to cut 120 jobs in its color pigments business and said it's looking for further savings. It will close U.S. plants in Cartersville, Ga.; East St. Louis, Ill.; and King of Prussia, Pa. as well as one in Hainhausen, Germany. Huntsman, which in December announced it was cutting 900 jobs, said the move will contribute $20 million by the middle of 2016 to its plan to deliver more than $140 million in synergies.
