Australia Bans Visas For Those From Ebola-hit Nations

Australia has halted all visas to travelers from West African nations suffering from the Ebola outbreak, Reuters quoted Immigration Minister Scott Morrison as saying Tuesday. Australia hasn't had a confirmed case of Ebola, although there were several suspected cases. The ban prevents entry from those arriving from Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia. The government sees the move as a safety precaution, but critics said it was politically motivated and shortsighted, Reuters reported.
