Print the address of the interview location along with directions or bring a GPS to ensure you don’t get lost and run the risk of being late to the interview (a lead to a bad first impression). Also be sure to have the name and contact information of the person you are interviewing with handy just in case of an emergency pops up and so you quickly know who to ask for upon arrival.
Pen and Paper
Having a pen and paper handy not only shows the interviewer you are prepared, but it also allows you to easily jot down then names of people or important tidbits of information you learn to help write follow-up thank-you letters or to use during a call-back interview.
Copies of Your Resume, Cover Letter

Questions
Having a list of questions prepared will reinforce your interest in the company and position and that you’ve done your homework. Don’t count on coming up with questions on the fly, it will add unnecessary stress.

For certain types of jobs such as graphic artists or illustrators, it is important to have examples of past projects to show to potential employers so they can get a sense of the quality and skill of your work.

Notes About Who You’ve Spoken To
Have a list with you of the people you’ve been in contact with at the company leading up to the in-person interview. This could be the human resource contact, a current employee or the hiring manager. The anxiety of the interview may understandably lead you to forget a name, so a note to refer to could come in handy.
