Verizon, 21st Century Fox Shares Rise

Shares in 21st Century Fox rose 7.8% to $31.60 in after-hours trading Thursday, after The Wall Street Journal reported that Verizon Communications was looking at buying parts of the media company. Comcast has also expressed interest in parts of the company. Verizon shares rose 0.3% in after-hours trading. (allison.prang@wsj.com; @AllisonPrang)
