Shares of utilities ticked down on a mixed growth outlook for the sector.

Analysts at Morgan Stanley forecast an active second half of the year for merchant power production shares. "Strategic action remains a key focus across the group, with several companies exploring potential transactions or structural changes," they wrote in a note to clients.
