US Business Inventories Fall in October
U.S. business inventories decreased 0.1% in October to a seasonally adjusted $1.886 trillion, the Commerce Department said Thursday.
Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal projected a 0.1% decline.
Manufacturing inventories rose 0.2% from the prior month, and wholesaler inventories fell 0.5% from a month earlier. Retail inventories were flat from the prior month.
