'Tis The Season of Shoplifting: 10 Most Stolen Items

The holiday shopping season is here and although retailers have been pleased with the success of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, eager shoppers may also have sticky fingers. According to Ad Week, one in every 11 people who enter a story will shoplift at least one item. Here are the ten most shoplifted items of the season. (AP)

No. 4: iPhone 4 Electronic gadgets are hot items for shoplifters and Apple products in particular tend to secretly disappear from stores quickly. (Reuters)

No. 5: Gillette Mach 4 This razor blade tends to retail for around $23 per replacement blade pack and tends to vanish from store shelves quickly. Shaving products make up more than 2.7% of store inventory losses, AdWeek also reports.

No. 10: Nikes. Brand-named sneakers are a hot commodity for thieves and the U.S. Justice Department classifies these items as 'high-risk' merchandise in terms of the likelihood of being stolen. (Reuters)
