Tech Flat as Valuation Concerns Simmer -- Tech Roundup

Shares of tech companies were flat as concerns over valuations simmered.

Apple shares ticked lower a session after analysts at brokerage Nomura Securities advised clients to steer away from the shares, whose price the brokerage said reflected high expectations for iPhone X sales.

Uber Technologies suffered a defeat in its effort to overturn strict rules and licensing requirements in Europe after the bloc's highest court ruled the ride-hailing company should be regulated as a transportation service instead of a digital service.
