Small Business of the Day: Dreamcatchers Children's Entertainment

Who: Leandra Finder, 40, @LLFCap

What: A clown, balloon artist and facepainter for children's parties and community events.

When: 1995

How: Finder grew up loving magic and spent hours in a local magic shop. While in college, she stumbled into creating balloon animals accidentally at a fair and discovered she had a knack for it.

"I loved the atmosphere of the business," Finder said. "It's just absorbing that this business helps children of all ages to still have fun."

Where: Alexandria, Va.

In her own words: "People are always looking to find someone to bring them what they have never seen before. In this industry, if you don't continue to learn and grow, you stagnate."
