Orange Takes Part in $11 Million Funding Round For FollowAnalytics

Orange (ORA.FR) on Wednesday said that it has participated in an 11 million dollar funding round for mobile marketing startup FollowAnalytics.

The French telecommunications group said its investment in San Francisco-based FollowAnalytics has been made through Orange Digital Ventures, a fund it launched in 2015 to invest in early-stage tech companies.

Orange didn't disclose the size of its investment.

The funding round included investments from venture capital firms Aspect Ventures, Zetta Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures, Cathay Innovation, La Maison and Salesforce Ventures, Orange said.

FollowAnalytics has raised $27 million since its creation in 2013. It specializes in mobile marketing solutions which aim to increase the engagement and retention rates of mobile applications. Both rates are metrics that provide insight into the success of an app.
