Multiple NYC Wells Fargo Branches Receive Envelopes With Powdery Substance
At least five New York City Wells Fargo branches received envelopes containing a white powdery substance Monday, FOX News Channel reported.
Each affected branch has been closed and will remain so until the situation is deemed 100 percent safe, a Wells Fargo representative told FOX.
New York City Police Department officers are investigating the incidents.
"Envelopes containing white powder were received at some Wells Fargo locations in Manhattan Monday afternoon," Wells Fargo spokeswoman Alexandra Ball said.
"The safety of our customers and team members are our top concern and our focus is on ensuring premises are safe. We are cooperating with the police, and we have no further information to share at this time."
