Mid-Atlantic Manufacturing Heats Up in July

The Philadelphia Fed’s gauge of manufacturing activity in the mid-Atlantic region rose to 23.9 in July from 17.8 the month prior, far surpassing Wall Street’s expectations for a decline to 16.
