Microsoft Boosts Dividend, Sets $40B Share Buyback

Microsoft upped its quarterly dividend by 5 cents, or 22%, to 28 cents a share. The software giant's board also approved a new $40 billion share buyback plan. Share of the blue-chip company jumped 2% in pre-market trading.
