Married Women Find Financial Responsibility Attractive

Married women consider financial responsibility sexier than men do, an Experian poll finds.

In an online survey of married Americans, 93% of the women said financial responsibility makes their partner more attractive. That compared to 84% of the men.

And fiscal sexiness appealed to women more across the board. While only three-fifths of men said openness about personal finances and credit scores made their spouse more attractive, almost three-fourths of women said the same. And more than nine-tenths of women said their partner turned them on because they paid bills on time. Some 80% of men said the same.

The poll was conducted from April 16-19, 2014 by Edelman Berland for Experian, with 1,010 married adults surveyed. The margin of error was 3.1%.
