GOP Tax Plan: Lawmakers Start to Sign Still-Secret Tax Bill

Republican members of the House-Senate conference committee are beginning to sign the still-secret final version of the tax bill.

Reps. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.) and John Shimkus (R., Ill.) both emerged from Rep. Kevin Brady's Capitol office and said they had signed.

Mr. Nunes said the bill was final.

It was unclear if any change had been made to the child tax credit to satisfy Sens. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) and Mike Lee (R., Utah). Mr. Lee's office said Friday morning that they were still negotiating.

The bill will be released publicly later Friday.
