'Glee' Actress Jane Lynch to Guest Star on ‘The Simpsons’: Report
"Glee" actress Jane Lynch, who nabbed a Golden Globe nomination Tuesday, will lend her voice in an upcoming episode of "The Simpsons," Entertainment Weekly reported.
The Emmy Award-winning actress, who plays the sharp-tongued cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on the FOX hit, will join the animated comedy as Roz -- an assistant to Homer Simpson in his job at the local power plant.
“This woman seems terrifically nice, but then it turns out she’s just completely undermining him every step of the way and gets his job -- until he can discover her one weakness with the help of Ned Flanders,” the show's executive producer Al Jean told the entertainment magazine.
Since landing her celebrated role on the TV musical, Lynch, 50, has made a guest appearance on Nickelodeon's "iCarly" and hosted "Saturday Night Live" in October.
News Corporation is the parent company of the FOX Broadcasting, FOX Business and NewsCore.
