Energy Shares Rise After OPEC Production Tally - Energy Roundup
Shares of energy producers ticked up after the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries said the cartel's production fell in August for the first time since April. In its monthly oil report, OPEC said its output edged lower by 0.24% to 32.76 million barrels a day in August while also lifting its demand forecast.
