The discount retailer topped the list of the biggest ‘leap’ in employee happiness at a 12.140% increase from last year. The company received high marks in benefits and senior management. (Reuters)
American Express
American Express ranked above the industry average in benefits and work place balance and saw a 10.4% increase in employee happiness.
Wachovia
The banking company posted strong marks for its benefits and saw a 9.1% increase in employee happiness.
Infosys Technologies
Infosys Technologies’ saw an 8.9% increase in employee happiness and scored high in job security.
Wal-Mart
The discount retailer received an overall score of 3.3, with its lowest scores coming in the categories of compensation and ‘recommend to others’ with a 3.2. (Reuters)

The department store’s employee happiness increased 8.4% and scored high in the category of senior management. (Reuters)
Convergys
Convergys received an increase of 8.5% in employee happiness with benefits being a leading reason for the contentment.
Home Depot
The home improvement retailer saw a 7.9% increase in happiness and was dragged down by its low score in the category of work-life balance. (Reuters)
Wipro Technologies
Wipro Technologies received an increase in 6.9% in overall worker happiness with its highest scores coming in the categories of senior management and job security.
Fidelity Investments
Fidelity experienced a 6.9% increase in its employee’s happiness with its highest score coming in the category of benefits. (Reuters)
