Companies Hiring for Seasonal Halloween Jobs
The National Retail Association estimates Halloween is a $5.8 billion holiday, which means retailers are going to need some help keeping up with sales. Here’s a list of retailers that are hiring for the scary holiday, according to HourlyCareers.com.
Spirit Halloween The seasonal retailer Spirit Halloween, a division of Spencer Gifts, has been helping Halloween enthusiasts find the right costumes for 25 years. So why not help out this year? The company is looking for seasonal district sales managers, assistant store managers and sales associates.
Halloween City Halloween City is hiring 10,000 hourly workers to staff its temporary locations throughout the country. The average store will hire 20-25 employees to accommodate the increased foot traffic.
Fun/FX Fun F/X is hiring between 50 and 60 workers during the Halloween season for a wide-variety of positions including customer service positions and people to maintain its warehouse-style store.
Dollinger Family Farms The farm hires about 50 teens to work from the end of September through Halloween. (Reuters)
BuyFun.com BuyFun.com plans to hire about 500 people to work this year’s Halloween season; about one-third of its new hires will work in the company’s call center. Last year, the company employed 400 seasonal workers.
