Clear Channel Names Eccleshare CEO

Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc said on Tuesday it has appointed William Eccleshare as chief executive, adding to his current role as CEO of its international unit.

Eccleshare will now oversee the two units, Clear Channel Outdoor Americas and Clear Channel International. Ron Cooper, currently CEO of the company's Americas business, will be leaving Clear Channel Outdoor after assisting with Eccleshare's transition.

Eccleshare, a longtime advertising agency executive, joined Clear Channel in 2009 to run its international business. He will relocate from the UK to New York.

Clear Channel Outdoor said revenue in the fourth quarter rose 2.9 percent. Excluding foreign exchange rates, revenue was up 2.4 percent.
