Business Gets 'Personal' on Cyber Monday
Talk about a holiday rush. With an estimated 106.9 million people expected to shop online for Cyber Monday this year, one business is in the middle of its close up.
Personalization Mall, located in Burr Ridge, Ill., will put photos and names on just about anything a consumer wants and the Monday after Thanksgiving is its busiest day of the year.
Last year Personalization Mall did about 10,000 orders a day last holiday season in November and December, accounting for about 40% of its annual business. Last Cyber Monday, they did 16,000 orders.
Co-founder Dan Randolph said expectations for this year's online shopping event are very high.
"It’s going to be our traditional biggest day of the year," Randolph told FBN. "The last two Cyber Mondays were the biggest days of those years, and we are expecting a 20% increase over last year."
The company, which was founded in 1998, is looking to ship costumer’s items one day after being ordered.
"We give customers the choice of utilizing our suggestions or coming up with their own ideas," Randolph said.
