Brazil Jobless Rate Falls to 12.6% in 3-Month Period Through August

Brazil's unemployment rate fell in the three-month period through August, as the number of self-employed increased, the country's statistics agency said Friday.

Joblessness reached 12.6% in the period, from 12.8% in the three months through July.

The figure rose from 11.8% in the June-through-August period of 2016.
