Apple shares falls as software update glitch gets more headlines

Shares of Apple Inc. are down more than 3 percent as a glitch in an iPhone software update garnered more headlines.

The software update caused some customer's new iPhone models to block calls. Apple offered a fix for the issue on Wednesday, telling customers to manually reverse the update by plugging the phone into a computer and to download a file.

Shares of the Cupertino, California-based company fell $3.21, or 3.2 percent, to $98.54 in morning trading Thursday.

Its shares are still near the all-time high of $103.74 it reached earlier this month.
