Investors became more skeptical on Tuesday over whether the U.S.-China trade agreement, reached at the G20, will produce actual results.

Stocks slammed from all sides on trade and bond market fears.

If Beijing offered the U.S. zero tariffs on autos, it would have to do so for every other country in the WTO as well.

Last week the president said he was considering imposing tariffs on all auto imports.

The meeting comes after months of warnings from U.S. President Donald Trump that he might impose big tariffs on imported cars, and days after he agreed a truce in a broader trade war with China.

Worries about the health of the economy and uncertainty about the U.S.-China trade truce slammed equities.
