At the center of the dispute is Senate Republicans' calls for a $500 billion fund that the Federal Reserve could leverage for loans to help companies and use to provide industry-specific loans. 

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday that Senate leaders were still talking about "issues where there is disagreement" on the $1 trillion-plus coronavirus economic package.

WASHINGTON — Negotiators from Congress and the White House were resuming top-level talks Saturday on a ballooning $1 trillion-plus economic rescue package, racing to strike a deal after President Donald Trump unleashed fury on those questioning his handling of the coronavirus outbreak.

Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and Richard Burr are under fire for certain stock sales.

The proposal would send checks of up to $1,200 to taxpayers who earn less than $99,000 a year, provide loans for small businesses and large tax cuts for big corporations. 

Typically, early withdrawal from an Individual Retirement Account prior to age 59.5 is subject to a 10 percent additional tax penalty.
