Liz Claman

Liz Claman joined FOX Business Network (FBN) as an anchor in October 2007. She anchors The Claman Countdown (weekdays 3-4 PM ET). Claman was recently inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. 

Her debut on FBN included an exclusive interview with Berkshire Hathaway CEO and legendary investor Warren Buffett. Throughout her tenure with the network, Claman has conducted exclusive interviews with nearly every U.S. Treasury Secretary from John Snow to Paul O’Neill, Larry Summers, Timothy Geithner, Jack Lew and Steven Mnuchin. 

Claman has also talked business with a roster of some of the biggest corporate leaders in the world, including Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, NVIDIA founder & CEO Jensen Huang, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Apple’s Tim Cook, BlackRock’s Larry Fink, JP Morgan’s Jamie Dimon, Palantir’s Alex Karp, AirBNB’s Brian Chesky, Chevron’s Mike Wirth, General Motors’ Mary Barra, AT&T’s John Stankey, Verizon’s Hans Vestberg, Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen, Qualcomm’s Cristiano Amon, Pfizer’s Albert Bourla, billionaire investor John Paulson, Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom and NY Jets owner Woody Johnson, Omega Advisors Chairman and CEO Leon Cooperman and billionaire entrepreneur Frank McCourt, Jr. to name just a few.

Additionally, Claman has reported from the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting in Omaha for more than a decade, where she has interviewed Buffett and his top corporate leaders, shareholders and investors in attendance. She has also covered the Consumer Electronics Show for close to two decades, where she has interviewed tech industry leaders including Delta CEO Ed Bastian, Nasdaq CEO Adena Friedman, IAC Chairperson Barry Diller, Arm CEO Rene Haas, billionaire Luminar founder and CEO Austin Russell, among others. 

She also frequently interviews celebrities and athletes about their business ventures.  Some former guests include pro golfer Phil Mickelson, Boxing Legend Floyd Mayweather, Baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred, Minnesota Vikings co-owner Mark Wilf, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff, singer-songwriter will.i.am as well as social media influencers Logan Paul, Costco Guys and The Rizzler. 

Prior to joining FBN, Claman served as an anchor at CNBC, anchoring programs including Morning Call, Wake Up Call, Market Watch, and Today’s Business. During her time there, Claman landed the first ever one-hour live interview with Buffett.

Before CNBC, Claman served as an anchor and reporter for Boston’s WHDH-TV (NBC). She was also a contributing correspondent for NBC’s syndicated daytime program RealLife. Prior to that, she anchored a two-hour daily talk show, The Morning Exchange for WEWS-TV (ABC) in Cleveland, for which she won an Emmy Award. 

A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and the Sorbonne in Paris, Claman began her on-air career at WSYX-TV (ABC) in Columbus, OH as a reporter and later a weekend anchor. Earlier, she was a news associate for KCBS-TV (CBS) in Los Angeles, where she was the youngest person in the station’s history to win a local Emmy Award for Best Spot News Producer.

Claman is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Theatre Wing and is a Tony Award voter. She is also an active fundraiser for Building Homes for Heroes, an organization that builds mortgage-free homes for severely wounded veterans and has completed seven triathlons and one New York City marathon.
