Fed's Williams Says Central Bank May Raise Rates Three More Times This Year

The Federal Reserve could raise short-term interest rates three more times this year, said San Francisco Fed President John Williams on Thursday. "Three or even four increases as your total makes sense," Williams said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. "I think the economy is in a good place right now," he said. The Fed raised interest rates last week and penciled in two more quarter-point hikes.
