Hertz Shares Rise Following Wider-than-expected Loss

Hertz Global Holdings Inc. shares rose in the extended session Monday after an initial drop as the car-rental company reported a wider-than expected loss for the quarter. Hertz shares were up 0.5% to $20.10 after hours at last check. The company reported an adjusted fourth-quarter loss of 71 cents a share on revenue of $2.01 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated a loss of 56 cents a share on revenue of $2.02 billion.
