Autodesk Shares Slide On Weak Outlook

Shares of Autodesk Inc. fell in the extended session Tuesday after the software company's fourth-quarter outlook fell below Wall Street expectations. Autodesk shares declined 3.6% to $72.50 after hours. The company forecast an adjusted fourth-quarter loss of 32 cents to 39 cents a share on revenue of $460 million to $480 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet forecast an adjusted loss of 31 cents a share on revenue of $488.5 million. For the third quarter, Autodesk reported an adjusted third-quarter loss of 18 cents a share on revenue of $489.6 million. Analysts expected a loss of 24 cents a share on revenue of $476.8 million.
