U.S. Stocks Open Higher Amid Bond Selloff

U.S. stocks opened higher on Monday as a bond-market selloff helped boost equities. The S&P 500 added 4.5 points, or 0.2%, to 2,168.94. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 56 points, or 0.3%, to 18,899, a new intraday high. The Nasdaq Composite fell 3 points, or 0.1%, to 5,232, weighed down by a massive drop in Dynavax Technologies Corp.
